Summit Jazz Foundation is pleased to announce its 2008 concerts. We will be returning to the Donald R. Seawell Grand Ballroom atop the Helen Bonfils Theater at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) located on 14th Street between Champa and Arapahoe. Three 45-50 minute sets will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end about 10:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

The single admission charge this season is $44.00, which includes the applicable 10% Denver seat tax. For more information about the concert schedule, click here. For an admission order form, click here. Concerts at the Seawell Ballroom will have seating as shown on the seating diagram (click here.) The artists shown have given verbal commitments. In the event of unavoidable change, substitutions will be at the discretion of the producers.

No actual tickets will be sent. You will receive a confirmation card by mail. Refunds will not be given, but you may transfer to an alternate date based upon availability.

A cash bar will be available in the ballroom. There are two dance floors at the Seawell Ballroom.

There is a covered parking structure in the DCPA complex at 14th and Arapahoe (enter off Arapahoe Street).

It is critical that we have your support by your attending one or both nights and that you consider making a contribution and/or sponsorship.  If attendance and other financial support do not cover the costs involved, there will not be a next year for the Swinging Jazz Concerts.  This is the harsh reality of producing such events.

Sponsor a musician ($150 contribution) - You select your favorite scheduled performer.  You will be acknowledged in print and from the stage.

Donate your Frequent Flyer miles for performer transportation.  You will be acknowledged in print and from stage.

Sponsor the piano rental for one concert night ($300 contribution).  You will be acknowledged in print and from stage.

Sponsor the airport shuttle transportation for one or more musicians ($35/musician/concert).

Make a pledge of any amount.  For your convenience it can be divided into monthly payments that will be automatically charged to your credit/debit card.

Put together a group of fourteen or more attendees paid in advance and receive two complimentary admissions.  Clubs, service organizations, church groups and neighborhood associations offer potential for successful recruitment.

Attend both nights of each set of concerts and get one night at half price.

Bring or encourage "first-time" attendees and they get in at half price.

Volunteer to assist in setting up and/or clearing the concert room.
